Who is eligible for HRDC refunds?
All registered Mauritian companies that contribute to the National Training Fund (NTF) are eligible. This includes companies with 10 or more employees in the private sector.
How long does the refund process take?
Typically 4-6 weeks after submitting a complete claim package. Pre-approval takes about 2-3 weeks.
Can we claim for overseas training?
Yes, but with additional requirements. The training must be relevant to your business and approved by HRDC beforehand.
What if we miss the 30-day deadline?
Late submissions may be accepted with a valid reason, but this is at HRDC's discretion. We strongly recommend submitting on time.
